SpecOps a New Frontier — 2026/03/03 — Project(s): SpecOps Lab
Energy: Ok (Think I'm still catching up from a busy weekend and insiting on waking up for the Australian Grand Prix!)
Time: 1 hour
Project(s): SpecOps Lab
Notes:
- Got a comprehensive output from OpenClaw about what it needs in specs I think it's way more thorough than the output ChatGPT gave me and tbh, I'll be reading up about spec writing as much as I can to make sure I'm not writing these tools off prematurely.
- I have a task for it that's pretty in depth but I don't know if I'll get the time to be a code monkey for so, at least 2 things come of writing proper specs. 1. It clarifies what needs doing 2. If the agent can do it, great I've got the output I needed, If it can't, great I know what steps I need to take and have a clear idea of what needs doing.
Win:
- Not much in the way of personal dev, just work, work.
- Have got the ball rolling, the initial set of ideas and wishlist to write the first serious job for our OpenClaw SpecOps experiment
Next:
- Get the spec phases written, then really refine the first phase.
- Explore what OpenSpec offers and clarify with the agent if needed
