Getting Back On The Blog Horse?
Energy: Good (decent sleep clocked 7.5 hours but concerned about waking up a lot 73 sleep score)
It's been over a month, like over a month since I've written a single word here, wow!
So considering how my life has unfolded over the past month with work projects taking up an ungodly amount of time outside of work (often working at 2 - 3am), I need to make a change to how and when I blog. I want to make sure to keep the "a little everyday" thing going, like really going. So even if I make a minute of progress that counts and needs to be documented.
So what's been happening? Still building! Always building. There are new projects, as always; but I don't think these are symptoms of a wandering mind, or the classic "I'm not motivated" excuse. In fact I'm always motivated, if anything overwhelmed! These new projects are me discovering a little more of myself by asking, "what if?" and moving toward tools & ideas I already had, just building systems from those core ideas.
What actions have I taken?
- Mostly working, managed to deliver on a project that could be described as trial by fire!
- Built a some processes around AI that should help keep the human in the loop but give AI some oversight and autonomy - more on that later
- Have started a few new projects that will support things I was already doing. But it's very important that I prioritize as I'm probably already at the too much to realistically build point!
What's next
Blog in the mornings over coffee about progress the previous night or earlier that day, especially if I've woken up early. Trying to blog at night when I'm already dead tired, is just a recipe for either missing a day or just not doing it as sleep is always a priority!
